14 members and 3 non-members arrived during the mid-morning, afternoon and up to mid night on Thursday with the exception of Neil Deveson arrived on Wednesday. The scene was now set and we all enjoyed some meals and drinks around the camp fire during the evening after setting up the camp site.
Friday: Light rain fell during the night and early morning then cleared to a nice sunny day with the Edward River flowing fast. Members fished the Edward and Wakool River and the weigh in on Friday night produced some excellent fish taken.
A Dicori with 4 Yellow Belly at 4.285kg and heaviest Y/B at 1.255kg. (Wakool).

Saturday: Sunny and hot and the Edward River flow was now back to normal and water dropping during the day.
Once again members fished the Edward and Wakool River. During the afternoon Graham and Linda Miller arrive with a friend and to see where the camp site was located and relaxed by wetting a line.

The evening meal at Devo’s camp kitchen 2 camp ovens where prepared one with a leg of lamb and the other with vegetables. All ovens where seasoned with chilly, garlic, stock, herbs and spices. The meal was enjoyed by all but some comment on the chilly be to hot and found out the next day.
Sunday: Sunny and hot and the Edward River continued to drop. Once again a mixture of members fished the Edward and Wakool River

Sunday night cook up at Devo’s cam kitchen saw to rotisserie chickens cooking by the young Devo’s.
Monday: All members who went fishing fished the Edward River and some packed up to go home.

Thanks to all competitors, referee’s for a great Easter trip. Some members packed up on the Monday morning and half remained where we relaxed for the afternoon.
Devo’s camp fire Kitchen fired up again where we all placed on the hot plate what food we had left and with meat and vegetables and tomato sauce we produced a large Paola meal everyone enjoyed. The entertainment was supported by Cd’s of Johnny Cash, seekers and John Denver. It was a good night.
Tuesday: Members packed up camp and left to return home.
