PNAC held a go anywhere freshwater single day event on Sunday 17th of September, with the weigh in at the Preston club rooms at 7pm.
The event was held with good conditions prevailing for both bank fisherman and those with boats. Ten anglers participated with desinations inclucing, Hepburn Lagoon, Lake Fyans, Lake Eildon and Waranga Basin.
Only two fish were weighed in but both were very good fish. Rod King fished with his son Jason and Daniel Trafford trolling Tassie Devils at lake Fyans. Rod was the only successful angler in their boat with a 1.750 kg brown (cleaned). Richard Higlett and Clinton Scott fished Hepburn Lagoon with scrubworms and lures. Only Richard was successful with a large brown on scrubbies for 1.745 kg (Cleaned).
The results for this event were 1st Rod King Brown Trout – 1.750kg Second was Richard Higlett Brown Trout- 1.745kg Congratulations to Rod in a close run win (5gms) over Richard.
