Fishing Reports

Over the years Howqua Lodge has been a great base to use to those of us that love to enjoy the snowfields of Mt Buller. This year we decided to invite a few of the other guys up to utilise the lodge and check out the lake. Julian & John Costa gave the fishing a miss and headed up to Mt Buller to indulge in some snow boarding. The other guys including Rod & Jason King, Steve Gusman, and Daniel Trafford fished the lake.

Rod caught two browns around the 40 cm mark directly in front of the lodge. Daniel & Jason trolled all day for a couple of smaller browns.

BBQ dinners, Lunches, and breakfasts were the order of the weekend. Great time had by all, as well as some sore bodies from the ski fields. For those with younger children and grandchildren take the time to book the lodge and get up to Mt Buller. It may be a little expensive but well worth saving for the experience.
