A very challenging weekend with three major projects to be finished in what was forecast to be poor weather. Fortunately the weather was fantastic which added to the enjoyment of a productive weekend for the nine members who came for the weekend and the two day-trippers on the Saturday.
Plenty of work was done on Friday afternoon evening with grass cutting and the removal of the existing shower and installing the new shower base to allow the mortar to set overnight.
The installation of the shower continued on the Saturday along with the replacement of the railing on the deck and the roof over the BBQ. Some fore wood gathering and other minor jobs were continuing at the same time.
Sunday morning was devoted to finishing works and some cleaning activity. A lot of hard work, a sense of achievement and lots of laughs made it a great weekend.
