12 people fish Port Albert on the weekend.
The weather was pretty bad on Friday as John Costa and Daniel Trafford tried to head out side. Steve Guzman got out, but due to the weather John and Daniel turned around and fished inside and with much luck they boated 14 flathead from 45-74cm.
Saturday the weather was more favourable and had an opening for all the boats to get outside. With Steve, Pete and Pedro landing some nice gummy sharks we were all wanting to get amongst the action. Pedro's luck was running hot with the biggest gummy for the comp with 10.870 cleaned finding his bait. A great effort for his first trip to the Port. Knocking Steve off by just 50 grams.
Steve won the comp with 16.920kg followed by Pedro with a total weight of 12.680kg.
Sunday was a blow out.
Steve won the comp with 16.920kg followed by Pedro with a total weight of 12.680kg over all. Total fish caught 43.
4 gummy's 1 hammer head and 38 flathead.
Over all it was a stand out with 43 fish caught. 4 gummys 1 hammer head and 38 flathead.
The recent improvements to the lodge made a good trip better.
