Friday saw the safe arrival of most members. Saturday weather was overcast and a bit breezy. P Antonello caught his first gummy at 65cm and not weighable. Overall most members caught fish with Numurkah boys fishing the old port via the Albert River. Sunday saw another good day for fishing. T Coon bagged a 60cm gummy but again not weighable. D Fairy landed a good mixed bag. P Antonello and G Bui landed a mixed bag of squid, salmon and flathead.
Monday weather changed and continued to Tuesday destroying any fishing. Overall 120 fish for 38.3kg.
Saturday and Sunday’s weather allowed the big boats to go offshore. What a bonanza; 19 flathead, 4 gummy shark and 7 seven gill sharks for a total of 134.25kg cleaned and gilled! Fished were also lost, though large squid were scarce.
