Members and their families gathered at Yarrambat Lake for our Family Day on a beautiful sunny winters day. We were lucky enough to help stock rainbow trout into the lake with VFA which the kids (big and small) thoroughly enjoyed. Dr Sophie Pryor from Ozfish gave a demo on the importance of vegetation next to waterways along with looking and finding water bugs at the lake. A free BBQ was enjoyed along with a rainbow fish colouring competition. Many members and their families caught trout with pink powerbait proving most successful. Everyone left with a smile.
