The Club entered three teams with our ten senior members. A junior, Kasey Brandi and a guest fished as individuals in the competition. Saturday was wet all day but conditions were perfect for Sunday. The group caught and released 14 Golden Perch over the legal length with two measuring 50cm. Many small Murray Cod, Trout Cod and Silver Perch were returned to the water. Some silver perch were of good size.
Best baits were shrimp , worms and yabbies and lures also took fish. A team from Wangaratta won the teams competition.
Kasey Brandi was installed as a junior member of the club at the BBQ and was the recipient of a rod and reel for the best Silver Perch for a junior. Peter Patterson took our competition honours with five Golden Perch.
