Four members ventured out in excellent conditions for some estuary angling. Two members tried the Barwon, one the Werribee and one the Maribrynong. The fishing was poor in the Maribrynong and Werribee and a little better in the Barwon with a variety of small fish keeping the anglers interested. Whiting, bream, flathead, snapper and trevally were caught however only the trevally was of schedule size. The fish weighed 0.55kg. Congratulation to Denis for winning the competition.
Another six members joined the anglers at the clubrooms for the weigh in and a very enjoyable BBQ organised by Vice President Petras Surna with Sturat Talyor helping.
