Saturday morning 6th October 2018 PNAC hosted a trip to western port bay.
6 members and 2 non members headed out from Hasting. The Weather was fine with only a gentle breeze about early which gave way to calm conditions as the day progressed. We launched early and headed out for the days fishing. Everyone having there own ideas on where to fish and what to fish for had us spread across half the bay. Fish caught on the day 4 calamari 1 flathead 4 Couta 1 gummy and 2 snapper. The gummy was released along with a few rock cod and a gurnet.
Overall the fishing was slow. The water temperature was still on the cold side but that is part of the challenge.
