Fishing Reports

Members stayed and fished from the Lake Hume Angling and Social Club Lodge which included a private boat ramp and locked gate.

Most members tried a mix of trolling & casting lures and bait fishing which saw Redfin as the main catch with the biggest going 34cm on a trolling vibe. Four cod in the low 50cm range were caught and released. Flash got a nice 37cm brown trout on a soft plastic. Worms were the pick of the baits.

We caught up with the very knowledgeable Tim Wilson who provided advice on fishing his local and a lend of his lures, while trying his famous happy cat hot jam donuts.
