October 21 PNFC go anywhere trip.Arriving at the ramp early and having time to waste why not chat with the locals. After a brief talk with a guy on the pier and later two ladies fishing on the tie up pontoon it seemed we could have left behind the boat for a land based session on the gummies.
Launch time and car parked off we went. Fishing in our backyard this should we easy. (Yeah right) With only 1 snapper weighed by John Costa who fished with Peter Desensi it appears the fish weren’t going in the morning. Steve Gusman & Pete Goldsworthy caught and released 7 gummy sharks but just couldn’t temp a snapper on the day. Tony Coon took first place with his bag of flathead. Second place went to John Costa with his snapper and rounding out the prize getters was Niki Duckstein with some nice calamari.
