It was a beautiful day with flat seas but the fish were hard to find. Six members fished Werribee and St Leonards with mixed success. Steve Gusman did best with 11 whiting above 30cm for 2.35kg with John Backx boating 2 for O.50kg. The rest failed to fire. That’s fishing!
A sausage sizzle and a few drinks made the weigh in at the Clubrooms very enjoyable. Thanks to Bernie Harris for his master chef efforts at the BBQ. It was great to see country member Neil Deveson visiting from Eldorado.
